A person behind the code.

HI, I’M IEVGEN. YOU CAN CALL ME EUGENE.

Your project.
My full attention.

I’m the senior backend and full-stack engineer behind NEATCO. I started coding at 14 and bring 15+ years of professional experience building and modernizing production software.

My work spans SaaS, ecommerce, logistics, communications, and fraud prevention. I handle architecture, APIs, billing, automated testing, deployment, and production support.

I’ve also built and launched an AI product with OpenAI APIs. I can help turn AI into a useful feature, connect it to your existing systems, and automate repetitive workflows.

Based in the Denver area, I work remotely with businesses and teams on focused fixes, larger builds, and part-time engagements. You’ll work directly with me throughout.

A SIMPLE WAY TO WORK

Start with a conversation.
Leave with something done.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

Tell me what you need, what’s getting in the way, and what a useful outcome looks like.

  2. 02

    Agree on the next step

We’ll agree on scope, priorities, and budget. That might be a focused fix or the first milestone of a larger build.

  3. 03

    Build, review, improve

I’ll do the work, keep you in the loop, and help with the handoff or ongoing support.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER

Let’s keep
it simple.

Something else on your mind?
Just send me an email.

What size projects do you take on?

Everything from a small fix or website update to a larger custom application or full product build. We’ll talk through the scope, timing, and what’s needed to deliver it well.

Can you work on an existing application?

Yes. Tell me about the application, the technology it uses, and what you’d like to change. I’ll take a look and let you know whether I’m a good fit.

Can you help a few hours each week?

That’s exactly the kind of work I’m open to. We can discuss your priorities and agree on a schedule that works for both of us.

Can you help with AI or automation?

Yes. I’ve built a production AI product using OpenAI APIs and structured responses. I can help with AI features, API integrations, and repetitive workflows, including the account, usage, and billing features around them.

Can you handle deployment and support after launch?

Yes. I can handle deployment, troubleshoot production issues, and continue improving your application after launch. We’ll agree on the scope, availability, and level of ongoing support that fits your needs.

What technologies do you work with?

I work across the full application stack, including:

  • Languages: PHP, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
  • Backend: Laravel, Symfony, Django, Celery, REST APIs, OAuth, Webhooks, WebSockets, and queues, with MVC and object-oriented application design.
  • Frontend: Svelte, Vue.js, React, Inertia.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and progressive web apps.
  • Data and infrastructure: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, AWS, serverless architecture, Docker, CI/CD, and Linux.
  • AI and integrations: OpenAI APIs, structured LLM outputs, Stripe, Twilio, and third-party APIs.
  • Quality and delivery: Automated testing, code review, debugging, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jira.

The right combination depends on your existing systems, project requirements, and maintenance needs.

How does pricing work?

It depends on the work and the level of support you need. Send a short description of the project and your budget, if you have one. We’ll agree on the scope and rate before any work begins.

LET’S GET SOMETHING DONE

What’s on
your to-do list?

A quick fix, a new product, or ongoing engineering help.
Tell me what you need, and we’ll take it from there.
